Finding sites that will allow you to post quality backlinks

1. Begin by opening up a web browser and going to Google.com.
2. In the search area type the following out but replace 'Your Keywords' with the keywords that are best associated with your site.
   
   site:.com inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “Your Keywords”
    
3. The resulting search will essentially give you a listing of .com websites that have blogs and allow you to post comments and that match your keywords.
4. Go down the resulting list and begin posting appropriate comments with along with a link back to the website you are promoting. Remember to write quality comments as the link in your comments will tip many off to what you are trying to do. The key is being tactful and giving enough quality comment that your comment will be approved.
5. Don't be suprised if some will not approve your comment. You are in fact using their articles and comments section to promote your site so not everyone is going to look upon this technique favorably.  Providing a thoughtful comment is what will tip the balance in your favor and keep this technique a white hat technique rather than something shady or 'wrong'.
6. You should create a favorites folder on your computer to track the websites that you have posted comments on. That way you can go back and see how your comment was received. Sometimes you will have an opportunity to get in a useful discussion thread that can further teh promotion of your website.
7. Change out the .com in the above search code to .edu and .gov. These are considered very valuable extensions for keyword purposes.
8. Try keywords related to your site and continue digging deep to get those backlinks going. You can NEVER have too many backlinks!
